Patrick Liu

Chairman

Patrick is Head of Internal Audit of Banco Comercial de Macau (established 1974), one of the leading banks incorporated in Macau. Prior joining BCM, he was Director of EY and Senior Manager of KPMG from 2005 to 2018, and gained extensive knowledge and experience in auditing, accounting and taxation. He is a Fellow Member of CPA Australia and Vice-President of the Board of Directors of The Taxation Association of Macau. His connection with Australia began when he lived in Melbourne from 1996 to 2004, where he completed high school and University and learnt many great things about Australia. Since returning to Macau, he has continued his connection with Australia by providing business advice to Australian individuals and corporate entities with interests in Macau. Patrick actively participated in the establishment of the AustCham Macau Chapter.

Andrew W Scott

Vice Chairman

Andrew is CEO of O MEDIA, which owns a number of media companies in Macau. Born in Australia, Andrew moved to Hong Kong in 2005 and Macau in 2009, when he founded O MEDIA. In an eclectic career he has been an accountant, nightclub manager, sports betting business manager, educator, high stakes poker player and television commentator, journalist and publisher. He has over 30 years’ experience visiting and commentating on gaming and hospitality businesses and is now a journalist and executive with deep knowledge in the gaming and leisure sectors in Macau, Japan and across Asia. Andrew was the 2014 Macau Person of the Year and is a Fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Directors, a permanent member of the Macau Gaming Management Association and President of the Macau Taxi Passengers Association. He is a member of the International Federation of Journalists, the Portuguese and English Press Association of Macau and the Poker Tournament Directors Association.

Liviano Lacchia​

Treasurer

Liviano Lacchia is a senior leader of Human Resources at Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG). Liviano commenced his relationship with Macau in 2005/2006 and moved full time to Macau in early 2008 and calls Macau home. He arrived in Hong Kong some 20 years ago and has worked throughout the Asia Pacific region. Liviano has over 20 years of solid experience in setting up large scale recruitment shared services operations, human resources, outsourcing and consulting as well as business development. His experience spans front line as well as back office operations in building operations across Asia Pacific. Prior to joining GEG, Liviano was the Regional Director of Recruitment at Melco Crown Entertainment, Director of Managed Services Talent2 Asia, Principal Business Development Headstrong and with Sybase Asia Pacific.

Michael Usher

Secretary

Michael Usher is the founder and CEO of the Vialux Group. He was born in Melbourne, Australia and has lived in Macau since 2004. With offices in Australia, Macau and Vietnam, Vialux provides architects, lighting designers and end users throughout the Asia Pacific area with proven high quality feature lighting and display technologies. Michael has been involved in the design, manufacture and commercialisation of innovative lighting and display systems for over 30 years. In that time he has worked on some of the world’s leading architectural lighting and facade display projects. Michael’s formal qualifications include a BSc (Physics) and MBA, as well as being a Member of the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America. Previously he was a Visiting Fellow at the School of Engineering, Griffith University and established FLI Research as a joint venture at the Griffith University IT incubator. He was a founding executive committee member of the Queensland Industry Cluster for AEEMA; and the National Lighting Innovation Centre.

Michael Keen

Director

Michael Keen moved to Macau in early 2007 to pursue a career in the wine industry after leaving his home town of Adelaide at a young age. After graduating from the University of Adelaide, Michael held various sales positions before embarking on his overseas journey and helping to establish Summergate Fine Wines in Macau. It wasn’t long before another opportunity came knocking and together with a business partner, Fine Beverages Limited was born, where he worked as the Director of Sales & Marketing for close to nine years. He recently made the switch into gaming manufacturing as the global Vice President of Sales for China TradeRite Products. Michael is keen to use his international relations and business development skills to grow AustCham Macau into a healthy Chamber.

Janet McNab

Director

Janet McNab is Managing Director of the 4,001-room Sheraton Grand Macao, the largest hotel in Marriott International’s global portfolio, and The St. Regis Macao. Australian-born, and of Italian descent, Janet began her career over 28 years ago in Brisbane. She has spent more than 16 of those years in Asia, working at properties throughout Thailand, China, Indonesia, and now – Macao.  Throughout her career, Janet has led the openings of key hotels and is highly regarded for implementing a number of very successful Sales and Marketing strategies for properties all across Asia in a regional leadership role. 

Lloyd Robson

Director

Lloyd is the current Sales Director for Aristocrat Technologies within APAC. Aristocrat is a global market leading gaming company with its Asian operations headquarter in Macau along with their manufacturing facility. Prior to his move to Macau, Lloyd was a sales manager in Australia for Aristocrat. Lloyd is passionate about the development and connection of both the Macau community and Australian business. Lloyd recently completed his MBA at UNSW in Australia.
