Billy Chan
Chair
Billy Chan is currently the Director of the Centre for Education in Medical Simulation, Faculty of Medicine at Macau University of Science and Technology. He is well-known for his leadership in healthcare simulation training in the region, having introduced skills training programs in various countries over the past two decades. He is also the Chairman of the Board and Founder of the Sino- Phil Asia International Peace Awards Foundation. Additionally, Billy holds various positions in Macao, he is the Vice President and co-founder of Sino Luso International Medical Forum. In PRC, he is the Standing Committee Member of the International Trauma Rescue and Treatment Association in Beijing, Honorary Consultant for Peking University Peoples Hospital in Beijing, and Executive Council Member of the World Association of Chinese Doctors. He is an Honorary Fellow at the University of Gloucestershire in the UK and has received recognition for his achievements in medical simulation education. Dr Billy Chan has been adorned with numerous prestigious accolades throughout the years, including the distinguished Knight Grand Cross of the Order of Merit of the Portuguese Royal House and the title of Knight Officer of Rizal, bestowing upon him the honourific title of Sir Billy Chan.

Stephen Berry

Stephen Berry is the Chief Executive Officer of DDE Technology, a cybersecurity services and advisory company that works with clients in Macau and around the world to protect critical public infrastructure and operations. Stephen has held business development and leadership roles in the IT industry for over 30 years. He first came to Macau in 2006 in the role of Technology Director for the City of Dreams casino and resort during its construction. Stephen is a guest lecturer on a range of leadership topics with various university MBA programs including the University of Saint Joseph in Macau.
Vinni Leong

Vinni Leong is the Chief Executive Officer of Winson Group, an IT services and cybersecurity based in Macau and operating across the Greater Bay Region (GBA) region. Winson Group specialises in the safeguarding of critical infrastructure and ensuring its customers’ operations remain resilient and productive. Vinni also has a long history in Macau in the F&B sector having established and run a number of commercial operations.

Dr Max Caruso, the Headmaster of Harrow Li De School, Hengqin, he holds a Doctor of Education degree with a focus on leadership development and agency. As a senior executive with over 30 years of experience in education, Dr. Caruso has held senior positions in various schools across Austral-Asia. His diverse journeys through Australia, Dubai and China have strengthened his understanding of educational dynamics in Asian countries and, in particular, for Chinese families. His experience has embedded an educational values system that is underpinned by integrity, excellence, unconditional respect, equity and service—values which closely match those of Harrow.

Denise Lau
Director
Denise Lau studied at RMIT in Melbourne and has been working in event management and communication at the United Nations ESCAP/WMO Secretariat for over a decade. During this time, Denise has worked on various projects related to peace and conflict resolution for Asia and the Pacific, and has gained expertise in diplomacy, negotiation, and managing complex projects. Denise is highly skilled in interacting with international delegates, organizing high-level meetings, and managing complex projects. Her extensive experience in diplomacy, negotiation, and international affairs has given her a deep understanding of the field. Additionally, Denise’s fluency in multiple languages and vast experience living in different countries gives her a unique and global perspective on every project she works on.
Alan Yung

Born in Hong Kong but with family roots in Macau, Alan has a diverse and multidisciplinary educational background.His academic journey led him to study sociology & political science in Hawaii, followed by postgraduate studies in marketing at Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He then pursued a master’s degree in international trade in Scotland and eventually earned a Ph.D. in Global Studies at Macau’s University of Saint Joseph. It was in Macau that he rediscovered his home 12 years ago, after working in media, advertising, human resources, and the IT sectors in Hong Kong. Alan is now with M Plus Sports Media based in Macau and expanding into other markets.

Nicholas is a lawyer at Ogier in Hong Kong, specialising in corporate, commercial, cryptocurrency, financial services, and insolvency disputes. He is licensed to practice law in multiple jurisdictions, including Australia, the British Virgin Islands, England & Wales, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Norfolk Island, and Pitcairn Islands. Originally from rural Victoria, Nicholas holds degrees in Law and Commerce from The University of Melbourne and The University of Hong Kong, where he received the Sir Po-Shing Woo Gold Medal in Law. He believes in Macau’s potential as a connector in the region and holds leadership roles in several civic and professional organisations.
